James Tatum, Emotional Intelligence & Cognitive Behavioral Life Coach
My goal is to provide you with a targeted and goal oriented life coaching experience. I work with adults who are ready to embrace a specific life change or challenge with an open heart and a willingness to take steps towards their desired outcomes. I am excited to partner with clients to develop a deeper relationship with themselves in order to achieve their goals.
I am trained in and specialize in integrating the Internal Family Systems model to assist life coaching clients in accessing and healing protective and wounded parts of themselves that may be unintentionally getting in the way of goal attainment. I am also certified as Cognitive Behavioral Life Coach and certified as an Emotional Intelligence Life Coach. I teach that there are no "bad parts” only “unknown parts” or “unclaimed parts” of self – this aids in dramatically reducing fear and resistance. I believe all are capable of preserving their own “wholeness” and capable of bringing more of that "wholeness" forward in life. As a life-long athlete and educator, I also enjoy integrating a sense of teamwork and play to the life coaching experience.
